We had a busy first week in middle school! Our very first day started off with a community breakfast, but not before a team challenge. ‘Seats Game.’ We also tackled ‘Crossing the River’— student showed collaboration & leadership, and worked out challenges between their teammates.
Next, we introduced our first unit of the year, Bridges. Students brainstormed about all the kinds of bridges that exist, and then were presented with our Tinker Activity. They were challenged to build a bridge with limited materials and no use of the internet or research sources.
